Parakh

Terms of use

Last updated 13 October 2026. These terms cover the Parakh app for Android and iPhone and the website getparakh.in. By using Parakh you agree to them.

What Parakh is

Parakh helps you check a used car before you buy it. It checks the registration details you enter, guides you through an inspection, reads the photos you take, estimates three years of running costs and gives you a verdict: buy, negotiate or walk away.

Parakh gives guidance to help you decide. It is not a guarantee about any car, and it is not a certified inspection, a valuation, or legal or financial advice.

What Parakh can't see

If you are unsure about a car, have a qualified mechanic inspect it before you pay.

Accounts

You don't need an account to check a car. To buy, you sign in with your mobile number, email address or Google account so your purchases follow you to a new phone. You can delete your account in the app at any time (Settings → Your account). The privacy policy explains what we keep.

Fair use

Don't misuse Parakh: no attempts to break, overload or copy the service, no automated access, and no reselling of reports. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Parakh is not responsible for losses that come from buying or not buying a car, or from information supplied by you, the seller or third parties. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
